Cats Welcome the 'Hitman'

Cougars fans will get to see more than just great hockey on Minor Hockey Night Friday, January 13. The Cougars are pleased to announce that Bret “The Hitman” Hart will make a guest appearance at both games on January 13 and 14 as the Cougars take on the Lethbridge Hurricanes. Hart will perform the ceremonial puck drop on January 13th followed by an autograph session in Section E during the 1st intermission. The following night, January 14, one lucky fan will be chosen to compete against Hart in an on-ice contest during the 1st intermission.

Minor hockey players and their families are invited to join the Cougars for Minor Hockey Night on January 13 and are encouraged to wear their team jerseys. If at least eight teams purchase group tickets, the team to sign up the most people on their group ticket form will have select Cougars players join them at an upcoming practice. The winning team will be announced during the 1st intermission.

In addition, one lucky minor hockey player will take home a goalie stick courtesy of the Prince George Cougars and fans will have the chance to win great prizes from our sponsors, including an autographed youth Cougars jersey courtesy of Ken Laursen of Royal LePage. Fans can also take advantage of a team autograph session after the game in Section V, where they can bring their Cougars memorabilia to be signed.

Group tickets (for groups of 15+) must be purchased through Shannon or Amy at the Prince George Cougars office. Contact 250-561-0873 to purchase your tickets today!
