The Battlefords North Stars returned home to the Civic Center last night, and produced an 8-3 victory against the top team in the Sherwood Conference, the Yorkton Terriers.
The Stars took control of the game from the get-go. Blake Tatchell scored short-handed 34 seconds in, and the Stars took a 3-1 lead into the first intermission.
Kyle Hall led the way offensively with three goals for the Stars while.Keith Grondin, Shayne Morrissey, Chris Neurauter and Cody Folstad also chipped in. Brett Miller returned to the lineup an added four assists.
The Stars finished five-for-12 on the man-advantage and goaltender Graham Hildebrand stopped 26 of the 29 shots he faced.
Up next for the Stars, another battle with the Humboldt Broncos. The Stars head to Humboldt tomorrow night for a 7:30 start. You can catch the game on CJNB/CJNS starting at 7:15.

The Stars have made another trade.
Ken Pearson has traded 20 year-old defenceman Jacob Chiblow to Trenton Ontario in exchange for future considerations and the rights to centerman Louie Labbe.
Chiblow's stay in the Battlefords was brief. He recorded two points in. 12 games.
