The Prince George Cougars are pleased to announce that three of their prospects will represent their respective Provinces at the 2011 Western Canada Under 16 Challenge Cup taking place in Moose Jaw later this month.
Forward Carson Bolduc (B.C.), defenceman Jordan Harris (Saskatchewan) and Ty Edmonds (Manitoba) have all made their teams and will play in a round-robin tournament October 27th through October 30th in Moose Jaw at Mosaic Place.
Defenceman Jordan Harris was selected in the first round by the Prince George Cougars in the 2011 Bantam Draft and is off to a strong start with the Prince Albert Mintos in the Saskatchewan Midget AAA league.
Forward Carson Bolduc was taken in the third round of the 2011 WHL Bantam Draft, and is playing Midget AAA with Kamloops of the B.C. Major Midget League.
Goaltender Ty Edmonds was selected by the Cougars in the ninth round of the 2011 WHL Bantam Draft, and went 8-3 last season playing Bantam with the Winnipeg Warriors.
The Cougars wish all three of their prospects well at the U-16 Challenge Cup.
