The Battlefords North Stars are 5-1 on the preseason. Tonight in Humboldt, the Stars weathered an early storm and earned a 3-0 victory.
Graham Hilldebrand is making one hell of an impression. He stopped all 19 shots he faced and looked calm throughout the entire contest.
After a scoreless first period, the visitors got going in the second period thanks to some powerplays.
Nathan Tomac and Jesse Lebreton scored mid-way through the second Stanza, and the Stars took full control from there.
Blake Peake scored a gorgeous goal in the third period to take a 3-0 lead.
Humboldt showed flashes of brilliance, but more often then not they were outworked.
Coleman Brodbin's second period tilt with Brendan Kotyk was another enjoyable sight to see.
The Stars will now welcome their two new teammates tomorrow and prepare for Kindersley on Saturday.
I hope you enjoyed the tweets tonight! Thanks for all of the positive feedback.
