Stars Are Off to Kindersley

It's my first road-trip of the year, and it's off to a familiar place. Kindersley was a friendly place to the Stars last year and hopefully that trend continues.

I hope (for our sake) that the Klippers decide to dress an older lineup. To my knowledge this will be their second preseason game of the year.

Here is the lineup for the Stars tonight:

* Young will start, Laycock will come in halfway through the game.

D - Iron
D - Spiess
D - Malek

F - Tomac
F - Daley
F - Morgan
F - Tatchell
F - Peake
F - Graf
F - Wakelin
F - Watt
F - Szucki
F - Oak
F - Schwab
F - Waskewitch

Scratches:

---------------

If anybody caught the Co-Op Leisure Time Sports Fix last night, you would have heard a great interview with Stars Coach and GM Ken Pearson.

Here are some of the quotes:

DO: Are you satisfied with the veterans and how they have played compared to the younger players?

KP: Some of our older players need to be better. We have a lot of younger players that have played really well in recent days.

DO:Does this finally feel like "Your Team?"

KP: I think so. We still have to put some pieces into place, but Atch and I are happy with the kids we brought in over the summer, and we now feel like we can contend in this league.

Its nap time. I'll be hooking you up with a full recap later on tonight.
